Washington (ANI): Indexeus, a new search engine, enables users to look up login credentials from over a hundred hacks, including the recent high-profile Adobe and Yahoo dumps.
However, the search engine exposes the credentials from only those websites and forums that are quite popular with the hacker community, The Verge reported. It means that the search engine is trying to market itself to the same hackers who it is trying to expose.
Hackers can also pay a fee of one dollar per record to get their credentials removed from the search engine. A disclaimer on the website reads that the search engine does not aim to reveal somebody’s private information but wants to spread awareness.
However, the European Union’s “Right to be Forgotten” ruling has forced its founder, identified as 23-year-old Jason Relinquo of Portugal, to change the website’s policies and offer a free blacklisting option to all the users.
